  I guess it says a lot about masculinity. I feel like I haven’t seen a movie like this before so that’s very interesting.
  If I were Siobáhn I would also leave for the mainland.

  Meh. Characters too quirky, some things made no sense, many things were unnecessary and uncomfortable. Don’t get at all what’s enticing about him, and she annoys me.

  Why did they make Marilyn a child for the entire time? A child that is also naked a lot. And so weird when she was talking to the cgi baby! I admire what they tried to do with the aspect ratio but gosh, it was giving me vertigo all the switching up. Ana de Armas did a good job with what she was given and her accent didn’t distract me, but ultimately the film ended up being just a lazy and sensationalist attempt at writing a woman who could have been given such a kinder and more powerful portrayal.

Following
