    Man o man. This one straight up got my emotional ass to tears within like 10 mins just because of some scene where the wife picks up the phone on a different phone in the house so they’re both on the line. That actually gets brought back and kinda tells
    You a lot about the story. Really let’s you choose which ‘side’ you wanna be on, and I kept switching throughout. Just a great movie.

    When does cinema replicate reality, and when does reality copy the artistic form? These are the questions both jack and Jill wrestle with throughout this film. Is it Sandler’s screenplay that set the stage to break the entire structure of storytelling? or maybe Sandler’s directorial eye which used reality to create a dream. Roger Ebert argues it was the portrayal of jack by Adam Sandler that brought the realism to the film, but we must not overlook the grueling representation of Jill, by Sandler that reminded us all that we truly can see ourselves within mirrors.
