What an odd movie. The color grading is muted, unable to capture the lushness of the rainforest. The low light scenes are really cool on a technical level. Wow, I dunno what to say, I was cycling between low and high fever when I watched this. I wanted to watch something soft and soothing, which this was and it was very nice to look at. However, the school boy falls for teacher plot plus a little tip of the hat to mild foot fetishism kinda gave me weird vibes. The end.

For all its sex appeal and corny-ness this is a pretty cool and well made film and definitely falls into the realm of forgotten or overlooked cyberpunk movies. It brings to mind Albert Pyun's Nemsis, with its silly cyberpunk trinket-like plot devices and set pieces which are some how fun and nostalgic to see now.
