The Killer 2023
Phenomenally clean cinematography. The opening chapter set me up for a ride I was hoping to experience, but the rest of the film became a clinical, well laid out film. Not what I was expecting, as from the first chapter I felt like I was going to learn more about a character and be placed into my seat with a fast paced escape sequence, only to see him return to his proficient line of work. The killer (character) was a reciprocating, clean, binary killing machine. Just too perfect. Made the T100 look like a lovable flawed windows 97 with a sense of nostalgia.

I can see why this film is nominated for the VFX. Being such a huge fan of Sci Fi, this film definitely knocked it out of the park for me. The world building, the characters arcs and development.

Barbie 2023
It’s was a great film. I liked it. The cinematography on it was good. The visuals were great and Margo Robbie did a great job. You can easily tell that this film had some precise planning as it is easily in my top 5 for 2023. If the Oscar’s don’t show this one love, it would be a shame as America, Greta, Margo , Ryan, and everyone else involved in this film did a phenomenal job!
