  Might be a controversial thing to say, but hear me (and every other person from Turkey on this platform) out, this is festival bait! :')

  I really wanted to like this film, as even the idea of a female Turkish filmmaker making it big is thrilling and of course the problems addressed are quite real and really, undeniably, very much there. BUT as a woman born and raised in Turkey, I just couldn't look past how foreign and unrealistic everything…
