This film really got me.
The script is a 10/10, a drama as unexpected as real. The characters try to hold on to a plastic happiness, with twists of humor and a few backstabs. It shows you that money can be the trigger for a corrupt and false life by pushing people to take wrong and impulsive decisions.

I really enjoyed the first part of the film, when Thomas visits the Count; the interpretations, photography and treatment of colour. However, I found the second part of the film more difficult to engage with, and I was somewhat disappointed by the character of Count Orlock.
Frances Ha has the ability to bring out the beauty in the little things that life gives us, both the good and the bad. Magic in the mundane.
Finally, a modern science fiction saga that is really worth it.
