  Let's get one thing straight: no movie should ever be four hours long. Avengers: Endgame came close but never crossed that four hour threshold. Four hours is a very long time to expect an audience to sit through the whole thing. I wanted the movie in two parts.

  By trying to keep track of both the FBI informant plot and the Fred Hampton plot, the story lost the impact and payoff it needed in the end to drive its message of equality home. The message the movie ends up sending is cops = bad.

Following
