There’s a good rule of thumb with documentaries that they all usually just present the information needed to convince you of their argument. I keep that in mind, and there are certainly some elements that require more reading and nuance. But it’s a very well out together documentary and gosh, so many moments in this - so sad, so shocking.

Amazing reboot. Dark, deep, a thinker. Left me thinking about it off-and-on for months. A 5-out-of-5 movie for its genre.

I was worried the subject (Bob and Bob, the Moses tome, the epic LBJ journey) would be given a cliche treatment. I didn’t want it to be - but I was worried it would be. But man, Lizzie Gottlieb really nailed it. Kudos. A real poignant documentary worthy of the subject (Bob and Bob & Ina). (The opening Clinton scene with the reverse focus did make me cringe a bit lol can’t re-interview I suppose.)
