  This movie feels like those movies I would watch as a kid and thought “man, this is so boring.” But would watch anyways. Only it wasn’t that boring this time around.

  On the surface seems like a classic, timeless movie (not a compliment). Pretty solid and entertaining, somewhat thought-provoking, bit frustrating. Acting saves it. Camera work leaves much to be desired.

  Ohhhhh so this is a good good movie. 
  Nice shots, beautiful lighting. I can see why my aunt thought Russell Crowe was hot. 

  Since I saw the second part first and gave it a 3 star, I feel obliged to go back so this one sits 1 star higher, at 3.5 stars.
