I have avoided this movie for so long thinking it was just another Smurfs or Alvin and The Chipmunks. It’s much more than that, it just unfortunately came out around the same time and fell along the wayside for me. This was a mistake.
This is so imaginative and magical. There are so many interesting scene transitions and beautiful cinematography. The colors pop in every scene. There aren’t any wasted shots here. Heartwarming performances, particularly from Ben Whishaw as Paddington…
