A masterpiece from Sylvester Calzone. Makes me wanna lift weights and prove the critics wrong. Kill them with kindness.
Not the perfect film. I found his stupid hat inflates an ill-proportioned characterisation of a down and out, once-upon a time star as silly at best, dumb at worst.
Enjoyed the direction of the weigh-in and wide shots of the boxing match/build-up. The sense of spectacle was good, the match itself though …

Playful, witty, cutesy and clever, Marcel the shell with two shoes wins you over the way ice cream melts in your mouth . I wouldn’t want to be a diabetic watching this though in case of too much sweetness.
