OK in regards to my last review ….. what a brilliant example of tackling a womens issue with nuance!!! Wowowow I’m on the floor it is seriously agony to be a woman and always has been…. And if body mods are not on your ethical radar what are you even doinggggg like why did we ever accept it as normal to hate ourselves and the way we change and exist like lets allllllll wake tf up!!!!! Capitalism and patriarchy wants to make a mockery of all women we have to resisttttt amazing stuff

There were some great things here but idk it felt like they did not spend enough time going into the insane trauma she has been through considering her interactions with men up to this point and the whole time during the movie. I am so so so so so so sad right now and every time I think about this movie. It’s obviously a comedy and maybe I’m thinking too hard and I should just enjoy it but I can’t. To me there are so many more important things about self actualization and womanhood and identity than sex and it feels degrading to explore Bella’s character as if that’s not true. And the whole thing with her wanting it making it liberating……
