I think I’d pair this film with Munich, that way you can see the many sides to this crisis. As far as films about journalism, this one is solid. The performances are very strong by the entire cast but I think the second-hand perspective will turn people off. While I liked this one a lot, Munich is the better film. It may be inappropriate to compare both films but it seems unavoidable to me.

The Brutalist 2024
I may be bias because I’m Hungarian and Jewish but this is an incredible film. I loved how much Hungarian was spoken by the actors and that audiences got to hear the language I use every day. I have not been moved by a movie like this in a long time so I can highly recommend watching this. It’s definitely in my top 3 films of last year.

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 2019
I watched this film again last night for the sixth time. I even had to update my Top 20 Favourite Films of All Time List so I could place this film in my top 10. There are very few movies that I’d want to hang out in but this is definitely one of them. Also, never have I been so enthralled by a movie that I found Brad Pitt driving around LA in 1969 to be so riveting. Lots of credit here goes to the Production Design crew, and those that did the make-up and costumes.
