  Gerwig brings a unique and modern approach to the material that is personal, relevant, and moving. And Ronan, Pugh, and Chalamet lead an expectedly strong ensemble. Like Gillian Armstrong's 90's adaptation, this is sure to become a holiday season staple for many. Deservedly so.

  I'm very fond of Keaton and Norton in this thing. But....while I recognize that the struggles of artistic creation are important and worth discussing from time to time, man, this is a gasbag of a film. A wet fart that calls itself a cool breeze. Its contempt for both audience and critic are juvenile at best. I don't get everyone saying this is a brand new Inarritu. Seems like same old same old to me.
