I wanted to love this… but I feel like there’s something missing. Performances are A+, Lily-Rose’s take as a Victorian Exorcist was so disturbing yet so fun to watch and I really think Bill Skarsgard is becoming a modern day Boris Karloff the way he bodies anything that requires a lick of monstrosity. I won’t lie that I didn’t understand the handlebar mustache though… tbh the hair overall in the creature design was… a choice. Willem Dafoe knocks it out…
