  It looked pretty. But yikes! 

  What was the deal with the dialogue? Also did Zoe Saldana have laryngitis the whole time? Why was she screaming like that so incessantly?

  I would give it a much better rating if the women had any kind of character arc or literally any good dialogue but all they did was scream and cry. The children and the women had the same level of emotional maturity. 

  Eh. I was disappointed but not at all surprised. Edie Falco was lovely!!

  I wept and wept and wept. Martin Scorsese took such beautiful care telling this story. I can’t say more without spoiling it but it was a magical moment when it happened.

  I’m absolutely in awe of his creativity.
