My god. Absolutely perfectly paced. Longing embodied. Finding beauty and confusion in the darkness, in our flaws. Holding onto both ends of that proposition for dear fucking life. It gives us identity and meaning, our way to hopefully find what we’re looking for, but we’re not all that lucky.
In my practice of sobriety, the scenes where Lee finds himself in the throws of addiction, though different from my own, were completely relatable and soul crushing. I felt deeply disturbed…

The search for home is never ending. Beautiful gorgeous movie. Loved the erotic still scenes, as well as the absurd Clockwork Orange-y vibes from the Shakespeare. Would rewatch anytime, which is rare for me.
