I was pleasantly surprised to see that this thing plays by its own rules. Does it always work? No! But is it a unique portrayal of a weird, nice guy? Yeah, it is.

First of all, the pace at which this thing travels is tremendous. It is positively propulsive.

The characters are all at odds with each other in the best way, and it's so fun to watch them clash with each other in the confines of the carriage. Some of them eventually go on to become each other's heroes.

I unfortunately struggled with the last act, when it has to fulfill all its plot developments. It's a shame that it loses track of its exciting group dynamic as the time comes to complete the story.

One note of incredulity: She was PREGNANT?!?!?
