    Pretty good little Spaghetti Western.
Nice to see Joseph Cotton using his cruel cold blue eyes here as the main Confederate nutter. Particularly standout performance from Norma Bengell imo

Comprehensive doc of Vandross' life and career. Amazing voice and some groovy songs!
But bit of a sad life ultimately, and died at just 54.

You know exactly what you're in for as soon as it starts, with drearily sad music playing over a leafy suburban street scene, ie. another masterpiece in human life from Mike Leigh.
All the characters are believably real and the acting first class from everyone, particularly the sister imo.
Pansy was right about Virgil though, he was a dick.

Shockingly powerful beginning (followed soon after by some road-view driving scenes - my favourite! - a Corbet signature shot?). Excellent performances by Portman and Cassidy as the main character at two different stages of her life. Great atmospheric score by Scott Walker; I even enjoyed the songs by Sia which fit well with the character.
Corbet is one of the most exciting young directors - more films please!
