2025 is the correct year for this to be released. Ruffalo's character is somehow both a bit too On The Nose but also far less absurd than what he's parodying.
The pacing feels a little weird in places and there are times when either too much or too little explanation is given.
However none of that gets in the way of this being an enjoyable sci fi story with a nice performance from RPatz.
One of those movies that I like in retrospect but didn't have a very good time while actually watching. A lot to interpret and something that I'll be thinking about for a while, but I spent much of the film feeling confused and uncomfortable.

Very much my type of movie. Great lighting, great fighting, a perfect soundtrack and a good splash of symbolism.
A bit tropey but I seriously don't care.
