  Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999

  It’s interesting how watching this with my toddler gave me a fresh perspective to watch from. I didn’t focus on elements that felt lacking before. Instead, we continued to enjoy the magic of it all; the story and characters, the varied worlds and ambience, the comedy, the creative sound design, and that epic lightsaber battle with Duel of the Fates. This movie in particular is absolutely for kids, and mine had a blast.

  My boy has officially watched the original trilogy. He was invested and amazed, holding his lightsaber while watching, wanting to know more about the story. He can’t wait for Phantom Menace. What a surreal experience. 

  I will forever say this trilogy is perfect. Idc.

  Wow I loved Rocketman. The structure and style of the film made for such a magnetic experience. The set pieces, costumes, camera work and editing are all phenomenal. Most notable is all of this worked in favor of understanding Elton John. OH and Taron Egerton is coming for that Oscar
