The Lost Daughter 2021
As a mother in construction, as a daughter of a loving (not perfect) mother, as someone who knows other mothers (disfunctional, loving, toxic, tired, dependent, …) I struggled with the theme of the movie.
The struggle of motherhood (and the other 1000 roles in our lives) is real, and we judge a lot women who are not warm, who are selfish or self-centered or simply career-centered.
