Easy A 2010
at times truly funny and well done, but also filled with *clever* repartee that feels forced and cringey. it's like this movie is constantly hyper-aware of its own perceived quirkiness. and then you've got your admirable/progressive moments that, just over a decade later, don't feel all that fresh. I don't know if this was me losing enthusiasm as the film went on, but the first half felt considerably stronger. I'll take 10 Things I Hate About You, Heathers, Clueless, etc over this any day.
