SOOSOO EXCITED after a few movies i could see him becoming one of my favorite directors. he does a slow drama with such a real, established narrative so well. the performances in this are outstanding wowoww

  when you try terrence malick and fail….

  i truly wanted to like this so bad and it was pulling me in at first…i see and love the vision but literally just slow for the sake of being slow. i was intrigued by the beautiful cinematography in the trailer and apparently that’s all this had to offer. some of the scenes would linger for 2-4 MINUTES in complete silence, which didn’t add to the non-linear plot in the slightest. the two combined made me tired & bored and i wouldn’t recommend unless you like to listen to crickets and look at grass.
