Itβs just as messy as Okja,Β but its emotional core didnβt hit nearly as hard.Β Some of the broader commentary feels a bit underbaked, like the ties between mega-churches and their political influence, while other themes felt more realized, like self-identity and grappling with the extremes within oneself.

Infinity Pool 2023
I loved Possessor, so this comparatively messy, sparse, surface-level film was a bit disappointing. It feels like it doesnβt have much to say, so it injects a hazy atmosphere and some insanely edited sequences to fill the gaps. I think Brandon Cronenberg still has the juice, but this wasnβt the project to showcase it.
