they really Love Actually’d it. But for real this feels like so many different types of tones and movies rolled into one. It’s obvious something great was here initially but it feels like it got lost along the way.
Then the actual Gorge was disappointing? I don’t know, I’m all for black hair Anya-Taylor Joy though.

What an incredibly horny movie. The first half I went from seeing duck tits to Howard working in some sex pad then almost fucking the mom from back to the future. The dialogue in this has to be the worst I’ve heard in a while and reminds me of the Star Wars prequels. The acting is so wooden and nonemotional (expect for Tim Robbins, at least he tried). The pacing is horrid. The third act alone feels like it lasted 2 hours. Incredible choice to make this the first film marvel has ever made.

I can’t believe this movie was rated PG and marketed towards kids back in the day. It’s filled with gay jokes, sex jokes, murder and the mob. They sold this as a funny talking kangaroo movie, when in reality kangaroo Jack only talks in one scene and it’s a dream sequence.
