honestly I was so looking forward to seeing this and now I just feel blue. I was sitting in the cinema just waiting for the moment that would pull me in or make me invested or some kind of exciting stylistic choice but I found myself waiting until the credits for this. feels like such a waste when we are meant to be in a so called vampire renaissance. for me the highlight was the female costuming and that’s not really a good sign. kudos to willem dafoe (as always) and lily-rose depp though
