Man, it's so good. It's so, so good.
It also meant a lot to me to have my "Viggo really broke his toe" moment when talking about the scene where the guy does all those sword tricks and Indy pulls out his gun.

Wow. This hit me a lot harder than the first time I watched it. Really powerful stuff.
Al Pacino's performance of depression was so real. Really, terrifyingly real. The scene where Chris O'Donell goes into his room to ask why he's been sleeping all day, and the moments after the Ferrari scene are heart-wrenching.
The quiet moment Pacino has with his brother after the dinner scene has always stuck with me but hit even harder again this…
It's always bittersweet when I eventually watch a well regarded film after putting it off for a while and end up enjoying it.
I honestly can't find fault. Direction, writing, acting - it's all good. There's also a lot to contemplate about the more complex ideas here. I've been underwhelmed with the other Sorkin films (film?) I've seen, but this one hit the spot for me.
Overall, it's just great. No complaints.

Yeah, this is more or less a flawless film. There's something that just doesn't get me personally to make it a favourite, but the music, action, performances, story etc. are all honestly flawless. The effects are so good, be it CGI or animatronic. I kept saying, "That looks so good."
The character arc Alan Grant goes through with the kids is very satisfying, especially because the kids turned up and I personally wished…
