Love Key Largo but it is impossible not to laugh at the movies attempt to convince you that Bogie’s character is morally corrupt and changes during the movie. This is not a critique of bogie who is obviously the best its just not in his nature and Huston seems to understand this.
Why is the washed-up longe singer such a classically endearing cinematic troupe? I am a sucker for it and Trevor really delivers.

Once you get dialed-in it is damn near transcendent. Obviously the performances are great but loved all the weird flourishes like the weird gibberish the two sisters have. wish I could’ve seen this in theaters. I feel like the fourth wall breaking finale would have been even more moving.
