Simply put this film is beautiful

The closing monologue hits especially hard when you know the backdrop of director Spike Jonze’s divorce with Sophia Copeland

The themes are amazingly explored, particularly that of loneliness and the depths one will go to find a way out

Joaquin phoenix is amazing as per

Acts as an anti-romcom but in such a profound and meaningful way

    I highly highly recommend

Yeah a big part of why this film is ranked so high is cos of nostalgia bias. So what, it’s my account. That being said I do think this film is hugely overlooked. On the request of my fan base here this review is. Whilst I don’t think it’s better than the dark knight I think this film is the best Batman film and the most accurate portrayal of his character. Pattinson kills it both as a lesser experienced more unhinged batman, and a reclusive and deeply tormented Bruce Wayne. Knock at the Cabin

Shyamalan has had nothing short of a howler with this one. What a boring waste of my time. The story is just crap to be honest and if you watch the trailer you have basically seen the whole film. Heavily lacking creatively and is only redeemed slightly by Batista. Watch paint dry for an hour and 40 minutes and you’ve basically seen this film. Severely underwhelming.
