  Like all "Kaufmanesque" films, I'd much rather see the real thing, but at least they put Charlie's name on this one

  Also, fuck Neon for dumping this one so unceremoniously. You can't position yourself as a champion of cinema, let alone indie cinema, if you're not going to stand behind your entire slate. Just goes to show that, at the end of they day, they're still a corporation.

  The most disappointing part of the whole viewing experience is knowing that Charlie Kaufman could’ve made a truly intellectually rigorous 5-star movie at half the length and budget but no one will give him the resources to do it.
