Saturday Night 2024
Much like an actual SNL episode this film is uneven. The drama feels mostly invented to create some tension in the story. The film editing is slick and captures the chaotic nature of pre-live SNL, the costumes are great and the actors are good, but I couldn’t help wonder if topics like this that are covered on so many documentaries and books really need to be fictionalized and crammed into a sub two hourly movie.
