  As a kid, this film was kinda meh. As an adult, it’s a bonafide favorite Godzilla film, one that features a stellar cast (Nick Adams is baller, yo) and an alien race bent on taking over earth using monsters. What’s not to love?

  Trim 10-15 minutes from this, and it’s probably a 4 star film, but the middle drags a bit and really detracts from the experience. That said, I love this movie because it offers one of the coolest creatures in recent memory. If you haven’t seen the film, just know going in there is more to Zeiram than you think, which is precisely why I enjoy it as much as I do.
