This is a good movie! But I couldn’t fight the disappointment I felt leaving the theater. I likely had impossibly high expectations going in. I am a huge Robert Pattinson fan, I loved Parasite, and generally I love outlandish sci-fi ideas put to film.

Helped out with a youth event at church and this was on. One of the most unenthusiastic vocal performances from Will Smith. Otherwise not bad, glad the intended audience enjoyed it

Inside Out 2 2024
Watched the first Inside Out with my family and Darcy in the theater when it came out. Darcy was insistent that we watched this together on this cabin trip. I feel a little silly that every movie I’ve watched recently has had this introspective and sentimental context, maybe after my honeymoon that will wear off. But this movie was very cute and I loved hearing Darcy laugh so much, was definitely worthy of a tear or two by the end as well. Not my favorite Pixar, but for sure up there
