It was so ridiculous the entire way through. I dunno if that’s a good thing or not. I found myself taking it seriously at times and I’d get invested just for it to switch up and go goofy again.
Although it’s meant to be a parody so I guess that’s the point.. I just really feel like lingered somewhere between serious and comical  and kinda left me confused.

Considering I’ve never really been a big Elvis fan and hadn’t originally intended to see this movie. It was really enjoyable.

The way scenes and aspects of the story transitioned was really well done and captivating. It was really interesting how they touched on so many aspects and perspectives of his career without necessarily wasting too much time on certain topics. And the pacing of intense scenes to calmer was well balanced.
But did it need to be 2 hours and 40 minutes. Maybe? Maybe not? Idk

Definitely a sad story about the come down of money, power and glory.

Amazing. Actually amazing. Like the perfect balance of humour, action, sci-fi and genuine heartfelt emotion. Watching the cinematography in this film was like a brain massage. And idk how but they somehow had me teary eyed while watching a stuffed raccoon sit on a mans head. Someone call Raccaccoonie cause this movie deserves the chefs kiss.

    Jurassic World Dominion

    ★★★½

After much thought, I’ve decided to take 1/2 a point away from my rating. Maybe it’s the post ‘just left the theatre’ hype wearing off. Or having gone back and rewatched the original Jurassic Park for the 1000th time giving some perspective.

I just feel like it was missing something. And I’m so sad to admit it cause I wanna just say ‘it was great!’. I feel like a solid 1 point of my rating is based off nostalgic references.…
