  Wow.

  The Dogme95 rules seem tacky and gimmicky but I think it shows what a master creative can do with such shitty technology and how they can work around that limitation.

  Where the DV camcorder’s defects look amateurish and home videoish for others, Vinterberg uses these blemishes to make such a wonderful and powerful film.

  It’s a scary thought that this film can easily represent us right now. In a time where children are being amputated in modern death camps like Gaza. The human mind can morbidly come to terms with these facts and continue to live on, carrying out our normal lives, completely forgetting the pain and suffering that’s happening literally every second.
