My grade four class watched this. Why did we watch this. Babies murdered, slaves whipped, plagues bestowed. An interesting choice.
With that being said..
The melt of beautiful pastels and soft landscape, the voice cast (albeit severely white for the character demographic) just makes for a quality animation. I think the music is above all what brings me to rewatch it every few years.
Rooted in religious origins, but despite this still a gripping story I would recommend to anyone.
