The best anti-drug PSA, and it’s not even close. This film portrays cynicism in the world perfectly by defining the source of happiness and purpose in the world and then taking it away. It’s a very disturbing watch though, so I would recommend either watching on your own or among trusted and comfortable company. A necessary watch in one’s life, though.

The best Pixar movie to date (if not this than probably The Incredibles), this film has everything one could want in a narrative. A simple, unique premise that reflects a much deeper and more contemplative theme. Cooking representing art in any form is a fantastic parallel, and the characters represent this theme well.
