Really feel like I should have watched the original before this. I just wasn't really convinced but can't really explain why. Some very powerful acting and hauntingly beautiful camerawork but the colours were so dark I was left wondering whether the cinema had the wrong settings on and the middle even left me struggling to remember if the film was entirely in black and white from the start
