John Wick: Chapter 2 2017
Kind of a typical action movie. You can tell exactly what's going to happen but it's a fun mindless watch. It's one of those movies that's kind of all spectacle. Second time around. Noticed some of the subtler stuff like the significance of each of the really prominent colors and other fun genius little shit like that because FUCK this movie is good. If I were ever to run into Damien Chazelle on the street or something I'd fall to my knees on the spot and I can't honestly say I'd know whether to kowtow or suck him dry.
