    Black Dynamite

    ★★½

Black dynamite works way better as an animated series.. Black dynamite karate chops his way as if he was buried in a time capture. For the most part this Blaxploitation homage eats its own tail and becomes the worst kinds aspects  of those films  without saying anything new commentary wise.

At a time of trump overload the most anticipated film on letterboxed arrives. Yes it’s pretty good. It’s like the love child of bong’s previous films snowpiercer and Okja. Well the clear DNA is here anyways . It’s cool seeing Warner bros back more and more blockbuster genre flicks. Ruffalo is slowly turning into one of the most Versatile actors working in the mainstream. Every choice he’s made roll wise recently has been interesting. That face teeth acting was out of this world..

Watching The Duke is the equivalent of pouring yourself a cup of hot tea and cracking into some biscuits on a rainy afternoon. It's seriously inoffensive stuff. I can imagine all the pensioners going to a rickety cinema near here on a Sunday afternoon and them finding much enjoyment out of this film. Nothing more than a crowd pleaser and consider the crowd tonight sincerely pleased.

Two men on their bikes riding up a hill. what more can I say… Within the first two minutes so much about characters personalities are revealed. I think the genius of this short really is the Simplicity. One uncut scene, featuring an incredibly tight script, it darkly funny whilst also showing the rawness of friendship. i’m looking forward to seeing what this duo produces next. This was  seven minutes of my life well wasted.

    Highly recommend.
