On holiday staying at a French directors house, he's called Romano:

Romano: let's find some football to watch
    *there is no football*
Romano: we could watch a film, i have Netflix
    Max: Sure
Romano: what kind of film? We have action, comedy, something in English is possible.
M: I'm happy to watch a good French film in French with some English subtitles!
R: You want a GOOD French film on NETFLIX?! 😂
    M: Fair enough!
*we find this film and the rest is history. It was funny and entertaining nevertheless by how terrible it was, turns out Netflix's French studios are even worse than ours.*

Watched this a couple nights ago so some of my immediate thoughts have gone.

Great to see Oxford city. Even greater to see Oxford Uni weirdos mwuhahahaha

And it's a good enough film to deserve the hype, worth a watch if you haven't watched it because it was popular. That was me.

Anyone else find the bath water stuff weirder than the grave stuff?

WOAH THAT FACE IS LIKE 5 METERS TALL - Max Burnett watching this in Imax (he hasn't watched an Imax film before)

    Poor Adrian Brody's nose :(
It didn't seem to hold him back though coz he still put in an outstanding (by definition) performance!

Mr 1950s America, Guy Pearce, legendary guy until all of a sudden he really isn't. No no no why did that happen wtf. Yeah, really enjoyable character though.

The score is everything, Cinema worthy. Well…

If you haven't watched it, it's probably the only film with folk music in you need to watch any time soon. *cough* Biopics will have nothing on this *cough*

I never read other's reviews on the films I watch. But that was the first thing I did after this. People should have something interesting to say after watching this. It has an obvious moral, it's fabulistic, funny (obviously), and for a film that spends most of it's run time playing…
