A difficult movie to judge because there are parts I really liked and parts I really didn’t.
To begin with, it’s shot beautifully. A visual upgrade from Chen’s prior movie 爸媽不在家 (aka Ilo Ilo), and it was fun to see Yeo Yann Yann and Koh Jia Ler (all grown up!) reunited.
