excellent.
aside from a pacing issue and some poor directing at times, this film is great.
a lot of interesting questions raised about elitism and how people use divinity as a scapegoat for their wrong doings.

The Girl Next Door 2004
this film is an onslaught of stressful moments that culminate in an ending that actually did satisfy me (though it shouldn’t have).
i really liked this. 2000s rom coms are my thing and whilst this fits into the Kevin Smith kind of comedic style that was popular around then, it’s still worth the time.
the personal shot composition of the film made me feel connected to literally every character.
it’s almost as if the director said “if i were to make one good movie it would be this one” if i were to compare it to his whole filmography.
