My daughter io and I went last night to an Alamo Drafthouse sing-a-long for this sweetheart of a film. I had forgotten how enchantingly simple yet entertaining it was — and it was fun sitting next to a woman who seemingly knew every single line! I’m so glad we made it in time — Austin traffic is horrendous! — and fun to see 80’s style fashion and sing along to 80’s music! Yay!

Belfast 2021
Absolute masterpiece of a film. The cinematography is exquisite—I could have watched the entire thing with no sound!
However, with a Van Morrison soundtrack and a stunning cast — especially the main character played by a charming, sweetheart of a boy named Oliver Savell.
A must see
Kenneth Branagh tells the story of his childhood with grace, beautiful style and relationships I wish I could have had as a child.

Game Night 2018
Last night was the sixth time I have seen this film and I still laughed!
What can I say except Rachel McAdams and Jason Bateman have exquisite chemistry on screen together, and the storytelling is hilarious! Plus, I had no idea where the storyline was going and that kept me highly engaged.
If you love having game night at your house with your friends, next time instead of having game night, watch this film together! I promise you, your friends we love you all the more!

Thelma 2024
I have seen a lot of movies over the course of my lifetime, and this is one I’m incredibly grateful I can say I saw. Written, directed and edited by Josh Margolin, I implore you to take near and dear friends/family members and go see this film ASAP.
The premise of an older 91 year old woman — on the cusp of losing her independence — and her fierce determination to regain the enormous sum of money she’s been boondoggled…
