Enjoyable film from Todd Solondz, that matches his plausible directorial talents with a film that solidifies his career as one of the greatest controversial directors of all time.

The film divides into two segments: Fiction and Non-Fiction. Each segment explores protagonists who desire to express themselves through the art of storytelling, which stems from their own realities and troubled youth. Solondz also manages attach a colourful suburbia, to coincide with the characters status.

A tremendously beautiful, and simultaneously strange, work of art. I am fumbled!

I’m not too familiar with the games but I actually quite enjoyed that. I will never understand all the hate that this movie received. It was good craic and was a fun experience. I’m still baffled by how Doug managed to steal the scenes by not saying anything and just having the most hilarious facial expression, even if it was only for 2 scenes.

The amazing visual effects is what made this movie so phenomenal! The whole movie is obviously an allegory, which gives it greater meaning than your usual sci-fi film. It’s harsh imagery succeeded it’s ability to provoke empathy deep inside of me. Regardless of its greater meaning, I am still puzzled by the outstanding effects. I will always regard this movie as a classic even though others will definitely criticise this opinion.

Also Important note!: The less you know about this movie before watching, the better!
