Why do so many movies have to start with a banger vibe and then get all boy and lost in like a.... plot. Ugh, crime. But, yeah, of course I loved this movie.

Groove 2000
I am truly obsessed with this movie and it is the live stream of quarantine films. Get stoned and you'll feel more like you're at a rave than watchign some DJ in their apartment or the weird Resident Advisor animation.
Also San Francisco was a beautiful and glorious rave space and high energy trance is a beautiful thing. More of that in the future please.

A Midsummer Night's Rave 2002
Finally a rave movie that doesn't suck. It is ranking below Groove but above everything else because it has great music, a rave that doesn't suck and that people are actually having fun at while wearing great outfits (one of the main girls aside who literally wears a one sleeve tank OVER a two sleeve shirt).
Points off for once again having a storyline about drug dealing and violence but at least it is a truly marginal part of this story.
Shout out to the Carrie Fisher deep deep cameo.
