a delicate orchestra of human emotions and experience, it balances humour, darkness and anguish in a way that could have easily gone wrong but yet quite thrillingly doesn’t. city of god calls how far we can extend empathy to those who are a product of their dire circumstances, one person at a time + i think this structure complimented its story quite well.
a very entertaining afternoon i had watching this in the cinema, sorry to my sister who had been telling me to watch this for ages you were right that i’d love it
