We need to stop listening to doctors, and start listening to the schizo who flushed her meds, and the professor who’s discredited due to being obsessed with the occult.

Is it crazy to say this is a perfect Superman movie? Perfect casting, perfect world building, and a story that’s everything Superman should be. I just want more, more, more.
There’s a fair share of legitimate issues, including a central storyline… just kind of being dropped, and never ultimately addressed(?); but when it’s all this fun, and gets Superman this right, all that just kinda falls to the wayside.
Boy, James Gunn has a real knack for making you care immensely about characters you’ve never given a shit about in your life.
Dev Patel says trans rights, then lefts, then another left, and a big right.
Neon revenge thriller with very good choreography, a bit of Bollywood, and some anti-fascisim thrown in? Sign me up 100 times out of 100.
Any complaint I have is super minor, and borderline nitpicking. Little too much shaky-cam for my liking (even if it’s intentional, and due to issues during production), two or three too many flashbacks, and would have liked a liiiittle more character development from our main character, but I get it.
Thrilled for whatever Dev writes/directs next.
“y’all got any good story?”

Never has a movie made me so uncomfortable in so many different ways.
Moving from act 1, to act 2, to act 3, my rating almost perfectly went from a 4.5 to a 4 to a 3.5. It's like poetry, it rhymes.
Regardless, the things that it does well, it just does SO well. David Jonsson's portrayal of a synthetic is fantastic. The mining colony in the beginning, just... every bit of it. The look and feel of every location, and piece of technology. The sound design, and cinematography, (so many beautiful shots…
I know it’s like the 15th biggest problem with this movie, but why was seemingly every line ADR’d?
Feels like 3 completely different movies mashed together (derogatory)
They said “Paddington 2 is Perfect”. And they were correct. Honestly great call from the “Paddington 2 is Perfect” people.
I’m so very confused on who this movie is for. Aside from having too much cursing and nudity to be for children - most kids will be bored to absolute tears. On the other hand, most adults will probably think it’s too slow (it moves at a snails pace?… heh) and that it’s ultimately…just fine? I stand in the latter camp.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m absolutely thrilled that it exists. Stop-motion animation in general is a marvel, and It’s…
