Rain Man 1988
Some of the dialogue in this movie was very repetitive and some scenes overexplained the already-obvious themes, but the heart was there and I can see how this may have been important for autism awareness at the time. Also a great advertisement for American landscapes, some real beautiful nature shots of the Midwest here.
